Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
In Dragon, Igalis Feredamos means Fierce Guardian of Gehenna. Although this term is hardly true for the dragon Tenedrim, who is actually quite the opposite. Strong and very resilient, he is a force to be reckoned with forty times over. He was hatched, unlike his mate Savelia, who was found abandoned merely because of her gender. As a Guardian Dragon, his duties include watching over the rest of the horde with extreme tenacity. Should an intruder even come as far as several yards away from the Sanctuary (the holding place for all of Ayanels dragons), he would know immediately and act diligently according to the situation.
His deep, reassuring voice is rarely heard. They always say that the quiet types are the ones you have to watch out for. Once Tenedrims mouth starts moving in terms of anger rather than consolation, one would hear quite a foul mouth from the fierce shield that is his body.
All in all, Tenedrim is a choice scout and protector for Ayanel's dragons and herself.
