Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nanax is drawn to shiny objects, especially silver shiny objects. This often gets her into trouble as her obsession goes beyond the normal desire for gold or gems. If treasure from another dragon goes missing, it is probably in her stash somewhere. Nanax doesn't do this to be mean, its more of an impulse for her and the other dragons have learned to roll their eyes and retrieve the item that was taken.

Nanax is Adonis Nox's mate and does not take kindly to other females who might try and direct his attention elsewhere. Fiercely loyal, Nanax would do anything to protect her mate and her eggs or hatchlings. She is impulsive and often does things that she privately regrets later on, but it's hard to get her to admit to doing something wrong.
