Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jaegar was the first Royal Blue dragon to be introduced to SL's cave. Since the dragons have never seen her before, they were very fascinated by her glittering blue scales, silver swirls, and love of moonlight. She was constantly questioned, which slowly drove the young Royal insane. There was one dragon, however, that never approached her but instead watched from a distance. And that dragon, Jaegar soon learned, was Nemesis the Shadow Walker.

This Shadow Walker immediately caught Jaegar's attention. He mostly stayed in the shadows, and when he was out he was commanding other young Shadow Walkers as they got into trouble. Jaegar quickly developed a crush on him, and right around Valentine's Day, too. He wasn't aware until it slipped out of Jaegar's friend, Iciana's, jaws.

Jaegar isn't mentioned much by Nemesis, because he prefers to keep his beautiful lady a secret (to keep her fans at bay) but they have become loyal mates, and Jaegar has become the queen she was meant to be.
