Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fate was all to cruel to Liza, bitten before she was strong enough to escape her egg she is forced to live a life where she can have no true young of her own. The poor female has so much love in her heart and so much to teach but no one in the cave is willing to let their young ones around her for fear of her kind. Her hatcher, Orichid wants so much to give her an egg to bite but the other dragons despise the idea and would rebel if such  thing was ever done. After a bit of thinking Orichid and Liza finally found an idea that would work. Even the best parents have instinct to abandon an unhealthy young, and all of those who are abandon go to Liza in secret for her to bite, raise then send on to another cave. Better a living vampire dragon in some happy cave than an egg that never gets to hatch.
