Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. There is a bright pink Flamingo Wyvern in the sky, and yes, it's a male. His name is Frenril. Though he is pink, he's fierce in battle. He will charge in fearlessly and when the enemy or enemies see his color, they are so stunned that he is able to kill them. In his free time, Frenril likes to take relaxing flights, sleep in meadows of pink flowers on one leg, and play with harmless pink fire. Frenril is quite peaceful and always enjoys human company.
