White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shyr Tiirenkari (proper English name "Jeweled King of the Sky) is an old White dragon and was the first of now thousands of dragons to befriend the dracomancer known as Kiryu. At one point in his life, this gentle dragon was known by the name Forta Shirsiisa ("Strength of Jeweled Wings"), but has since asked to be referred to by his true name.

This ancient dragon is a kind and warm soul, and would never harm another living creature unless lives depended on it. It was due to this pacifistic nature that the Vampire clan was able to catch Shyr off guard and seal him away with magic (possibly courtesy of one of the Blacks or a rogue Magus) prior to their utter takeover of the territory. As it stands, half a dozen curses render Shyr incapacitated in a cavern near the heart of the Vampires' expanding territory.

It has become the goal of the Nightstalker Resistance to free Shyr so he may use his own magic to counter the Vampires' assets and reclaim the territory. Current progress is unknown.
