Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Jingle is a baby Winter Magi named because his obsession with bells, he loves to trot around after Bhreac because the Snow Angel mainly wears them. Bhreac loves her little admirer and has helped him start a collection made only of bells, all the other dragons, mainly those that often travel, will return and give a new bell to his collection. Next Christmas, Jingle hopes he can make a performance with his jinglebells.
