Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Oddly enough, it has two heads that seem to enjoy playing with each other.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

You come across this little dual-colored hatchling on VampireKetsuki's scroll, and see a paragraph scrawled in, written in very messy penmanship.

"To whoever reads this scroll; the darker head is named Yu which translates into 'Needless to say', and the lighter head is named Ai, which means 'Love and Devotion'. Together the hatchlings' names mean 'Needless to say, love and devotion'"
