Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sefilim is soft as a feather, with an enormous dose of patience. She is one of the hatchlings' teachers; she guides the younglings in their first steps. Sefilim's hobbies are various: for example, she adores dancing or chatting with her husband. Their love story is a bit atypical.

At first, she saw Catopsys as a carnivorous plant, too dangerous and scary for her so she tried to avoid him without being rude. But when the male dragon tried so hard to be gentler in order to get her attention she was touched. Some time later, his courtship and his efforts managed to conquer her heart completely. Even if some dragons are skeptical about this couple, Sefilim is happy and argues with anyone who dares to say that her husband could be too dangerous for her. Her biggest secret and pride is that her beloved husband tries always to improve himself in order to keep the dragoness by his side. Sometimes Catopsys even asks her some private dragonesque lesson, in order to fill his gaps.
