Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cerulean was not the founder of his clan, but the elders saw something in him that was worthy of being named their king. Cerulean has taken this title seriously and wasted no time in setting up a council of sorts consisting of a few trusted and powerful dragons. Every night he flies over the region. He does this both to relax and to keep an eye out for trouble. Argon and his daughter Xena are never far away in case another dragon were to try to attack the king, though he has proven to them time and again that he is more than capable if defending himself. Despite his strength he keeps a watchful eye on Pitch Blaq, who is known to sneak out of the cave from time to time without the others knowing. Cerulean suspects he is meeting someone in secret, though he has no proof, just a bad feeling and a strong gut instinct.
