Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon is fascinated by her coloration, but it's not her pink tones that impress her. Highly fond of the striking contrast between her natural black markings and her burgundy hues, she'll often steal ink from human settlements and use it to add additional dark patterns to her body, letting her savor the effect all the more. Unfortunately for her, swamp water and paint don't mix, and most of her creations drip away soon after she finishes them. Irate but far from defeated, she's now looking into having herself tattooed, although she finds the thought of someone ELSE decorating her a bit unnerving...
