Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Garan Treebark is a kind dragon, though a little shy. He knew from birth that he was not the only dragon completely made out of paper, but had never met anyone like him until he drifted on the soft breezes to a small grassy area where, to his amazement, two dragons just like him where playing: a small child and a beautiful female paper dragon. At first he was afraid to go nearer, but as the wind played with his paper wings a small noise gave his presence away to the two dragons he was watching. The female came towards him and before he knew it he was talking to her like they had known each other for years. Ever since that day, he is found spending most of his time near this female named Orya and her adoptive daughter Maya.
