Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Although Lokkit has been aware of Good Nap's feelings towards her for some time, she has never found herself able to return them in the same sense, knowing quite simply that she prefers the romantic companionship of males. However, her love for Good runs deep, and due to that she has found herself unable to take a mate lest she damage their close friendship. She often jokingly refers to Good as her 'platonic mate', though silently she wonders really just how true that is becoming.

Her grasp of influencing her natural aura and its effect on others is shaky at best; as such, she and Good often have a riot together practising her abilities under the warm evening sun. Many males have attempted to catch her eye at this time, but she always finds herself politely declining their attentions, all too aware of the pangs of hurt and fear Good experiences at the encounters.

More than anything, she desires a strong mate that Good approves of. If she never finds one, so be it. Good matters more.
