Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lumin is a proud wyvern, hailing from an extremely proud family, rich with pure blood and gems. After hatching they noticed something was different about him, and quickly handed him off to a trusted human.

As he grew, the human noticed his prideful nature, along with his strong affinity for other dragons, which came as a pleasant surprise.

Freeing Lumin after he'd grown into an adult, he settled himself atop a coastal mountain peak, where he met Rumna, a Daydream dragon.

To start, he was quite disgusted with how little care she took for herself, and gradually they formed a bond.

After many years, the settled together, and began providing services for those who wandered by, along with caring for abandoned hatchlings.

One day he came across his aunt, who had been plagued by nightmares of which she couldn't explain. Upon seeing him, she was repulsed by his selection of a different breed of dragon for a mate. Simply he stated, "If this is what disgusts you, your dreams are omens of death"
