Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Diminutive but playful, Floraleaf adores the bright blossoms of spring and and loves to frolic in them. He will play with anything that can keep up with his boundless energy, but he's especially fond of other season dragons, and tries to make the most fun out of whatever weather graces the clan's territory. He can often be found playing with Amberleaf, Icyleaf, and Fallenleaf.
