Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sejaliar is the champion of many battles, the hero of many weyrs.  He's slain knights and wizards, faced hordes of vicious vampire dragons, and once took on a dozen vampire dragons single-handed.  At least, that's what he tells everyone.  In truth, Sejaliar has never done anything more heroic in his life than decide what to hunt for dinner.  The lies began harmlessly enough not long after he arrived at Dead Pine Weyr, when he grew so ashamed of having nothing but boring travel stories that he embellished a tale of having once seen a zombie dragon from a great distance into how he fought against one and won.  One thing led to another, and soon Sejaliar was painting himself as a greater hero than Kalazor, just to keep everyone's attention.  As Dead Pine Weyr is becoming less isolated by the day, Sejaliar lives in ever-growing fear of the day when some traveling skywing will expose him as a fraud.
