Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hungry Gold is, like his name suggests, constantly hungry. When he was a hatchling, he was fond of raiding his previous owner's food stores, which eventually caused his owner to lose patience with him. His owner tied him up outside their cave with a small supply of food and a sign that said 'Free Hatchling. Please Take Quickly!'. He was left there until Dark happened upon him. He had eaten all his food within the first hour, and he was thoroughly hungry and very miserable by the time Dark untied him and took him home. Unfortunately, he very quickly ate all of his new owner's food and then promptly fell asleep. Luckily, as he grew older, his habit of eating everything in sight has somewhat diminished. He is still hungry, but he has learned to control his old habits. At least some of the time. When Dark has a holiday feast, however, the delicious smells often become too much for him, and then the food disappears almost like magic.
