Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Storm--Chaser roars as she flies over the village, everyone, even the King and Queen, look up. They shudder at the thought of the misfortune they know now lies ahead of them, but Storm--Chaser does not want to bee feared. She creates lighting storms in her rage that the members of the village and the nearby Castle fear her. She tries to research and understand why they fear her, and is still to this day craving the knowledge. She spends her days pestering the other dragons with her questions about the topic.
