Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sunsetjetstream (or simply Jet-stream), is a sunset dragon who is usually awake at dusk, and asleep the rest of the time.  She takes in solar energy from the evening sun to keep her active and give her the power to take flight.  Whenever the sun's energy hits her, the orange skin on her wings and underbelly has a brilliant glow.  Whenever she's asleep, the orange looses it's luster.  If she's awake, but it's not dusk, the orange fades and she cannot take flight.  Therefore, she can only take flight and have more energy in the evening.  She is usually shy and cautious with humans, but other than that, she is very friendly with whom she trusts.
