Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Limu, like all of the tribe's silver dragons, lives on the island of Molehu. She received her name like all other silvers: as a hatchling, she was inspected by the elders and then summed up in a word in Hawaiian. For her, it was Limu, meaning "seaweed".

Limu does not smell good. Not at all. In fact, she smells quite bad. Kind of like seaweed. Oh look, there is some seaweed in her hair. Maybe someone should tell her. There is always seaweed in her hair though. Poor Limu.
