Considered heralds of ill fortune, Omen Wyrms are usually found in areas previously ravaged by disaster or strife, blending in amongst the foliage. Due to the unique appearance and texture of their bodies, they often pass as dead trees as they wait for unsuspecting prey. Their haunting cry—like that of a hollow-sounding horn—is a sure signal to run: it is always followed by the dragons’ furious wrath, which manifests in the form of fiery cascades. Escape from an Omen Wyrm is possible, however; it is said they will not dare follow their quarry across running water, no matter the cause of their vexation.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tricker Of The Treaters likes to spend his time knocking on people's doors, cave walls, or whatever entrance they may have and then tricking them. How the human or dragon reacts is what decides how bad the trick will be. For example, if the victim opens the door and upon hearing Tricker Of The Treaters say, "Trick or treat!" goes to get goodies, he'll be happy. If, however, the target just screams or freaks out, the punishment will be harsh, which includes the burning of homes, being haunted for up to one-hundred years or even DEATH!
