Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Chisana kuroi kage is a quiet little dragon. Most dragons cannot even tell when she is around. She is kind of depressed most of the time, but very powerful so try not to get on her bad side. If her privacy is invaded or one of her little trinkets gets broken, then she will go into an all out rage focused on whoever was dumb enough to mess with her things. Once her rage has been stated, she goes back into a depressed like state, not communicating with anyone, just sitting alone in the cave where she dwells.

Her name means small black shadow.
