Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tahkini, just like the normal behavior of her breed, is very fierce and cold-hearted. She killed many small animals as a hatchling. She was also honored as her clan's Final Trio award for completing Sherepta1's Trio collection to start summoning. Tahkini is a temporary hunter in the clan, and at other times she's a temporary warrior. Tahkini sleeps lazily in spring and summer because of the heat that affects her scales. Unlike the other Ice Dragons, Tahkini's scales aren't as affective in hot weather as others are, so it would be too dangerous and risky for her to stand out in the heat. Tahknini, like Leafspeckle, almost never uses her wings; only for important reasons (attacking prey, fighting enemies, attempting a summon).
