Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Like her parents, Pink-fanged Menace and Bloominox of the Rabid Ones, Mina'ring is a crazy, obsessive young dragon. She loves the forest to pieces, and constantly chants, "WE ARE DANCING IN THE FOREST" loudly and off-key while hunting in the forest. The only thing she ever talks about are forests, and she cries when trees are torched, destroyed or even scratched in battle. She loves to hunt "amongst the dappled trees and whispering shadows," but tries not to even scrape the trees' bark. If she so much as ruffles an oak leaf, she will go into a state of melancholy for several weeks, moaning and wailing about how she "blemished a pure and pristine part of our beautiful forest territory." Many of the Rabid Ones have tried to console Mina'ring whenever she goes into this state, but the only thing that really makes her happy again is to see the thing that she has damaged "restored to its original grace and beauty."
