Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

ThunderCloud is an interesting dragon. She is incredibly calm even in the face of potential threats and tries to avoid harming her friends by accidentally letting an electric discharge hit one of them. For an electric dragon she is gifted in containing her abilities, however because of this she is not very capable when it comes to combat since she does not usually use her electric charges for a fight unless the situation is dire and no other option is viable. During the day she sleeps in the sunlight, but at night she goes to a pool of water near a mountain and sits there, gazing at the reflection of herself and the stars.
