Aww... It’s a cute baby drake. It loves frolicking among the flowers.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

User Description

This little drake loves flower nectar. Her favorite is clover nectar; she frolics from bloom to bloom in clover fields, drinking deeply from each one. She nearly always has clover leaves in her claws and antlers, though almost never a four-leaf clover.

Klovar gets so excited and happy to find clover that sometimes it gets her into trouble. Once she found a thick patch of blossoms that she could reach by putting her head and foreclaws through an opening in tight brambles, or by flying up and around the bramble to get at them. In her impatience, she dove forward through the small hole and began eating. When she had drained the patch of blooms, she found that she was unable to pull herself back out of the hole—she was stuck!

Her friends got behind Klovar to push her free. With great effort, they shoved until the vines gave. She popped out of the bramble and through the air, landing with her face in a beehive full of clover honey. It was the sweetest rescue anyone could have managed.
