Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Natani was the cause of a lot of commotion when she was small.  The first thing she did when she hatched was accidentally burning Orion's, the owner of the cave, eyebrows.  Throughout her young life she unintentionally caused much mischief.  She once accidentally spilled a bottle of purple dye on Keith, a royal blue dragon, and that is actually how they met.  Aside from the incident with the dye, Natani and Keith got along together amazingly well.  As they got older their friendship slowly blossomed into love.  They were a perfect match and while both were responsible, one of their favorite activities as a couple was to play a prank on a friend of theirs, although it was always harmless and in good humor.
