Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Midnight Steed is one of the many warriors in the cave. She patrols the cave's territory to make sure no intruders, human, dragon, or otherwise trespass. She also hunts during the night when most of the other dragons are sleeping. Her favorite time of day is exactly midnight. Every day at exactly twelve she will stop what she is doing and take a short flight for enjoyment. She is well liked by many of the other nocturnal dragons because of her temperament. Many of the other nocturnal dragons tend to be temperamental so her calm and thoughtful demeanor is refreshing. It is a break from the other more difficult dragons. Many of the nocturnal dragons call her the Night Mother because they can come to her with their problems and needs when most of the other dragons are asleep. Although Dear Maiden is the official Cave Mother, Midnight Steed tends to take over her duties at night. Dear Maiden doesnt seem to mind this; actually she seems to enjoy the respite.
