Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

BraveLilac is a strong Purple Dragon hatchling. He likes to build things out of rocks. Using flat-ish rocks and mud, he built a playhouse for him and the other hatchlings of his cave. BraveLilac likes to work with mud, and even rolls around in it sometimes. He also likes to have mud fights with his friends. BraveLilac takes care not to be caught if he flings mud at an adult dragon.
