Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, the sky has been full of very dark clouds.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. It’s learned to use its new wings quickly and you now have a hard time keeping it on the ground.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Deluge of Black Sea is named for an ancient tragedy that accured about 5600 BC. The little hatchling had no parents within the cave, so he quickly became lonely. the constant tendancies of dark skies and wet weather that followed him left the other hatchies to make up quite terrible rumors of him. One of them being that he was loyal to the great zombie, Ippin, which is completely untrue, just as any hatchie Deluge was afraid of the angered legend. He felt abandoned within his own clan. Deluge begain to constanly seperate himself frm the pack. The adults still kept an eye on the youngling and carried for Deluge, but they couldn't help him when he let none in. He eventually found trust in but one dragon of the cave, Vincent the vampire. Vincent was aswell pushed away for his bloodthirsty nature, but the hatchie took a likeing to him as Vincent became his parent figure. The never aging hatchie follows him everywhere. Vincent smiles upon the hatchie and has appeared to have adopted him.
