Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Magi Magee hoped that once she grew up, everyone would think she was so mysterious since had more magic than anyone else in the Babysitters' Union. However, Queen Wiggly Wiggles just assigned her to normal tasks of helping out around the nest like everybody else. But wait! She would use her magic to make food for the hatchlings, and then Queen Wiggly Wiggles would see that she was not being used to her full potential. She cast her first spell to do just that. So, Parvi Partin, being the bravest of the hatchlings, was first to eat the chocolate cake she had made out of the mud pie they were playing with. He exclaimed that it tasted great, so the other hatchlings quickly joined him in eating it. The hatchlings were so excited that their little project turned into real food. Unfortunately, everyone of them got sick later that night and vomited mud. Queen Wiggly Wiggles was very angry and punished Magi Magee, not even letting her have the title of Babysitter.
