Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

It's a mystery to everyone whether Lazybawk is a statue or a dragon. Of course, in reality, he's alive, but he barely moves. Once a group of hatchlings came to find out that mystery, so they sat next to him for 4 hours, and they only left because they were too hungry to continue looking in his red eyes. Those eyes seem to be always open, whether he's eating or sleeping. Those who think he's a statue tell everyone his eyes are expensive rubies, but no one has ever dared to try to steal them; otherwise, he would not return from that adventure. Lazybawk is really annoyed at all the hype he's causing, and he doesn't like hatchlings because of these four hours when he was surrounded by curious little beasts. It's a mystery how he didn't bite off their curious noses, but he has some honor in his heart. He wanted to be a hero and be famous, but his immobility made that impossible. You can't rescue lives if you can't move. It's the drama that haunts Lazybawk's life every day.
