Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Givre has an intense vendetta against Creorluna, as many do. The only difference is he will do something about it...even at the cost of his very soul.

In Givre's memory, his mother was an almost ethereal being too gentle and kind to harm even a fly. Givre was very young when she was taken by the cult Creorluna. Years later, she returned to him...as the enemy. Creorluna warped her into a monster, the murderer of nearly a hundred dragons all on her own. She almost killed Givre even. Such is the madness of Creorluna.

In the end, his father killed her to save Givre, but with her last breaths she came back to herself and said how much she loved him.

Givre never forgave his father. He ran away into the woods, planning his revenge. There he met Vestigo, an intelligent fellow runaway. He bonded to the little tyke, but deep down he felt guilty for taking him in. Once he goes after Creorluna, it might well be a suicide attack and there's no guarantee Vestigo won't get caught in the crosshairs
