Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

There is something magical about snow--its silent descent, the gentle way it caresses branches and softly blankets the ground, the breathtaking beauty as it glitters in the noonday sun under a cloudless sky of the purest blue. The moment when humans, hardened from years of physical labor or hours managing wares, smile and children both human and dragon alike leap in happiness. Ragnak loves nothing more than to see this universal joy and spends his days breathing layers of frost onto the landscape around him in attempt to preserve the essence of winter. Even when the sun's blazing heat melts his intricate handiwork in a matter of minutes, he continues trying. Whether this is out of stupidity or lack of foresight is unclear, but his persistence and desire for peace is inspiring to many to keep the Christmas spirit alive all year long.
