Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sparkly Lady quietly leaves the cave in the darkest moments of the night to climb to the pinnacle of the mountain. Once there, she opens her wings to their fullest extent, and facing fully to the place where she knows the sun will appear, stands motionless and silent, until the sun's first rays touch her. Maintaining her pose, she roars her joy and remains motionless until the moment when the sun clears the horizon. Then, she lowers herself to all fours and returns to the cave to perform her duties. No other dragon knows of her ritual, and she doesn't know why she is drawn to do this, only that she has performed it every day since she first crept from her egg. As a hatchling, she would climb as high as she could before performing her ritual, a little higher each day, until the day she actually reached the mountaintop.
