Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

And look! Its back legs have become a second set of wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Larkk is the master of air and one of the most beautiful hatchlings ever to grace her clans presence. She is even more kind than she is beautiful and never shows her anger. Larkk would give her life to a complete stranger if she could, and would never regret that choice. She believes that one of her most important purposes in life is to make others happy and to love everyone that she sees. Larkk was born weak, never measuring up to her full potential, she was frozen to give her more of an edge before all her strength was sapped growing into adulthood. It's a hard life to live, going in for checkups every other day to the healing dragon to make sure she will live to the next week. Her only rock through her hard times is Bardhyyl; he is always there to comfort her and give her an encouraging nudge if she needs it. Who says a hatchling can't be in love
