Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Rasthmus, an artistic soul with a philosopher's mind is a firm believer that everyone and everything born is special in a way, a beautiful being in themselves. He is a self-proclaimed "gypsy" or "bohemian" as well as a lover and a dreamer. When he became a father, he and his mate began teaching their children the ways of Bohemia, the art of the Gypsy. Their children grew and carried on his legacy, teaching their children and so on until there was a lineage, a family of Gypsy dragons with no surname other than Special, indicating their apparent beauty and the beauty they see in others. Rasthmus started a movement of dragons who, upon being asked where they hail from, will look their asker in the eyes and proudly reply, "Bohemia."
