Stratos Dragons resemble sea dragons, but these massive creatures are far too buoyant to swim in the water. Instead, Stratos Dragons use air mana accumulated in their scales to live high up in the skies from the moment they mature enough to leave the ground, only ever returning to the ground in open spaces or very high elevations to lay their eggs. The underside of a Stratos is covered in reflective scales that slowly shift colors throughout the day to mirror the sky and the clouds above, serving as camouflage. Young Stratos consume anything that will fit in their mouths, and are especially drawn to air mana, but adult Stratos are difficult to observe and not much is known about what they eat or where they continue to gain mana. Corpses of grown Stratos dragons have been found with an incredible amount of crystallized light and air mana embedded in their backs, and it is thought that they fly so high up as they would otherwise be a delicacy to many of the more mana-hungry dragon breeds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A more cool Atmoswing sibling, Fly enjoys some competition with his siblings where he can show off his impressive acrobatic skills. He's one of the more sociable Atmoswings, having significantly more charisma than the others. Often times, he will swoop past and sometimes drift with other flying dragons, usually breaking off with a neat trick. Fly really loves attention and has a bit of vanity to him. He's by no means narcissistic but definitely can get a bit self-obsessed. Despite being social with other dragons, Fly is strangely avoidant of his siblings. He completely disregards his more shy brothers and sisters and sees the rest as rivals. He can get surprisingly aggressive in competition, leading his siblings to leave him out of sports and training. That doesn't stop Fly from practicing on his own though, or even forming his own games. He's definitely adaptable and knows how to take rejection, which is helped by his ego. Fly sees himself as the single coolest dragon in all the sky.
