Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

"Hickory Dickory Dock. This dragon went up the clock. The clock struck one; this dragon came down. Hickory Dickory Dock." This White Hatchling has forever thought it was a mouse. It never interacts with the other dragons in the Abyssal Wake. The Wake Treasury has an old birch grandfather clock that the Master salvaged from a wreck. Hickory simply climbs up the grandfather clock at one o'clock each day. Only the Master knows where it came from. All of the other dragons have no idea.
