White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

White dragon medics often fight the hardest battles, always against untouchable enemies. It is grueling work, and some are not built to handle such duties.

Named for her sweet and shy demeanor, Demure studied and observed her fellows in order to become an outstanding clan healer. Things went well for the first few years, and she found great joy in saving the lives of other dragons.

It was when she lost her first patient that everything began to go downhill.

She was horrified and didn't eat or sleep for days; the victim's dying eyes haunted her every waking moment. Her confidence left her, and her indecisiveness caused her to lose more patients, which pushed her over the edge.

Heart and conscience shattered, Demure lost her healer status and now drifts through the clan, a shell of her former self. She is emaciated and distant, for her den lies in an empty, dry valley used as a clan graveyard. There she tends to the graves, and is sure to converse with her former patients daily.
