Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Soli and Natali the Ribbon Dancers were among the wild-born winter spirit dragons brought to the Breedery for the first time during during the storied Winter of Wishes. For years, Lurhstaap had braved the cold to hunt for dragon eggs, but Ribbon Dancers seemed to have vanished from the wild. But things changed one year, and the dragonmaster's patience was rewarded at last.
Soli has a close relationship with all the local weather dragons. Although Lurhstaap loves inclement weather, and prefers the Breedery to be kept beneath clouds when it won't harm the local plants and wildlife, he has told the Storms and others with weather magic to be kind to Soli and Natali, and the other Ribbon Dancers. So when Soli asks for clear skies at night, she usually gets them. She's become the ambassador that the others send to request the sky be cleared so the Ribbon Dancers can go out to forage and play in the clean light of the moons. Soli loves cold air and the sound of fresh snow under her claws.
