Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Remarkably fast, this zany little girl races all over the land, nearly flattening any poor fool who gets in her way. But of late, she's settled down a bit more, having mated with a dashing water dragon. The way their bond came to be was most unusual. Scootscoot claimed she would give her heart only to one who was fast enough to beat her in a race. Hydroholic, a childhood friend and a blue dragon, claimed he could beat her and win her heart. The proud whiptail accepted, and said he could determine the course. And he did--straight through a lake! While she was fast on land, she couldn't hold a stick to him in water, and he won handily. And after that, well-first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes dragon eggs in a dragon's cavern!
