Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hyenae is a shy dragon that has taken up residence on Dragon Isle. An anxious and paranoid creature, Hyenae tends to shy away from social contact. She loves to paint and create artistic masterpieces in her free time, sometimes putting them up for display during the island's ceremonies and holidays. Every resident in the community admires and seeks to impress Hyenae, but she is too humble and too withdrawn to accept their advances. Instead, she locks herself away in the safety of her labyrinths. With only the soft candlelight to guide her, she spends her days hidden away in the deep mazes of the isle's underground caverns.
