Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems allergic to something, and every time it sneezes sparks shoot from its nose and mouth.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. Small bolts of electricity occasionally fly off of it, zapping nearby objects.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Percikan was named for the Indonesian word for "spark". Perci is a pretty typical, happy-go-lucky Hatchling. She enjoys practicing flying and clapping her wings together to make sparks, and playing with the other little Dragons. However, she hasn't quite gotten control over all that electricity yet, and more then one of her playfellows has been zapped during an innocent game of tag! Poor Perci always feels very badly when this happens, but it's not long before she's back to haphazardly racing around with the other Hatchlings.
