Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Spiorad Rioga sleeps away most of his day, defending his family by night. A fiercely loyal dragon by nature, Spiorad Rioga will do anything he can to protect his family (even if he doesn't know how to fight). Due to his peaceful nature and kind heart, Spiorad Rioga has never harmed a living soul without extreme measures being needed. He has only ever been in one fight, and he lost... horribly. Despite that, he still stands guard every night as he watches the stars, usually letting his owner lie on his back or in his large paws as she falls asleep.
