Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Deddo always wanted to be a mother, but could not breed because she was a Vampire dragon. She has tried many a time to bite more eggs and make them her children as well, but more than most the eggs die from the bite and that has been something she dreads and mourns over the young lives that never got a chance to live due to her desire for motherhood. When the other dragons that dwell in ZoruaxZoraork's cave reject her eggs again she feels the sting of knowing her chance at being a parent is not always approved by the others. Only twice has Deddo bitten an egg and raised it, her son Dead mask and her daughter Heishi. Her daughter hardly ever leaves her side and is always kind to others trying her best to make sure Deddo doesn't worry too much. But Deddo often feels unsettled by her son's rash behavior, and fears his attitude toward dragons other than Vampire, will lead him into a situation she can't save him from.
