Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to bear some semblance to a horse.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Fairway is a sweet little hatchling; he's incredibly playful, and loves running and flying as fast as he can go. But he is constantly teased by his friends for being a bit too nervous; he jumps at everything a little out of the ordinary. One time he was caught hiding in the middle of the night, just because he heard a branch snap.

Because he's too young to have wings, nobody really knows what gender Fairway is. But everyone simply calls him a 'he', because Cry of the Night, the hatchling leader, thought he seemed like one.
