Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aurora of the Waters is one of the Water Spirits. Her father abandoned her and her mother, and her mother died trying to protect her. Outside her undersea-cave home, she was an outcast. Then, one stormy night, as the ocean waves crashed and threw the sea into turmoil, she was saved from a most gruesome death by Neptune, who had secretly fallen in love with her. A year later, the two of them roam the ocean together, and are rarely--or never--found without the other.
