Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Behold, seeker of the dragon lore, Flitterglitter of the Geode dragons. As is very often the case, he is not in the usual sense of the word a pure-bred Geode—or to be exact, not even in the widest sense as his parents are both Green dragons. Thus, he is really exceptionally lively for a Geode dragon and was even seen to try flying with his crystal wings as a hatchling, imitating his parents. When he was old enough to look for a mate, most female Geodes shied away from him because—compared to them—he seemed rather hectic and, thus, aggressive. In the end, he found a mate in a Geode with a more lively temper and some Green dragon blood in her, too. Though one might suspect it to work the other way around as well, all their offspring are Geode dragons, never Green or Stone dragons.
The name of his mate is Gondhril, by the way.
