Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to enjoy sunbathing.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Small for his species, Tiberius makes up for it with a superiority complex the size of a blue whale. He's constantly espousing his greatness to anyone in the cave who will listen (though few will!). The other Terrae dragons put up with him only reluctantly; he's part of their family, after all, even though he's as annoying as a fly next to an ear. He has a very aggressive nature, and is willing, even eager, to get into fights when opportunities present themselves. The frozen black hatchlings often roughhouse with him. Essentially, his personality boils down to that of a pathetic-looking, soaked animal that attempts to fight but just ends up looking adorable.
